Last Sunday was the wedding of my cousin Toñi, and for this event she asked me to make the images to be used in, her invitation card, the decoration of the tables and for other accompanying elements, such as fans, cones for bridal rice, bubble blowers, table arrangement, tissue boxes, etc. Everything was very beautiful. The images are based on Dutch Delft Blue ceramics, since the groom is Dutch, but all the designs are mine. On the invitation card the kissing couple shares the typical Dutch tulip with a red and yellow Spanish carnation ... It has been very rewarding to make these and see how they all took shape on the day of the wedding in the gardens and the enclosure where it took place.
El pasado domingo fue la boda de mi prima Toñi, y para tal evento ella me pidió la realización de las imágenes que iba a usar en la misma, para su tarjeta de invitación, para la decoración de las mesas y para los demás elementos que la acompañaron, abanicos, conos para el arroz nupcial, botellitas de burbujas, señalética, ubicación de los comensales, cajitas de pañuelos, etc. Quedó todo muy bonito.
Las imágenes están basadas en la cerámica Delft holandesa de color azul, ya que el novio es holandés, pero todos los diseños son míos. En la tarjeta de la invitación la pareja que se besa comparte el típico tulipán holandés con un clavel español rojo y amarillo...Ha sido muy gratificante hacerlas y ver como luego todas tomaron forma el día de la boda por entre los jardines y el recinto donde tuvo lugar la misma.
